About the Event
Our monthly Eat Well, Live Well series features a guest speaker on a health topic, a cooking demonstration, lunch and produce giveaway. Held on the second Monday of every month.
THIS MONTH: Guest Speaker Geoffrey H. Yurcisin, MD, FACS, is a board- certified general surgeon with more than six years of experience. He received his medical school training at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He will be speaking about Gallbladder Health, specifically about gallstones, their symptoms and treatment.
Also, Chef Mark will be sharing some unique preparations of the nutritional powerhouse - sweet potatoes!
